About
As a performer, most of my practice is in contemporary classical music. I have followed in the footsteps of Segovia, Bream, Fisk and many others in commissioning new pieces for the guitar by composers such as Javier Contreras, Andrew M Rodriguez, Liam Ritz, Bosba, and others.
My project “dark is a way,” is a collection of pieces for solo electric guitar composed by Gulli Bjornsson, Isaac Roth Blumfield, Yaz Lancaster, James May, Andrew M Rodriguez, and Cassie Wieland. The full recording of the project is now available on Bandcamp.
In the last few years I’ve been incredibly lucky and proud to perform at places like the University of Louisville Guitar Festival, New Music Gathering, the 21c Guitar Festival, the Lexington Bach Marathon, University of Georgia, Tufts University, the Ball State University New Music Festival, Experimental Sound Studio in Chicago, and more.
